The Federal Council has withdrawn as of 17.02.2022 practically all measures in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. This means that our courses, seminars and shows will all be conducted under the familiar normality of before the pandemic as of 17.02.2022. In particular, this means that there is no certificate requirement, no mask requirement, and no restriction on participants. However, we still recommend maintaining hygienic measures such as regular hand washing. In case of symptoms of illness, it is still recommended to stay at home.

After 702 days (1 year and 11 months) we finally welcome back our old normality. We will continue to do the best we can to further protect the health of all participants.

The current protective measures against COVID-19 of the Federal Office of Public Health allow us to hold our courses, seminars and events. The Canton of Bern has not issued any additional measures.

PROTECTION COURSES

All courses and trainings take place under the 2G-rule

COVID Certificate (2G rule)

Starting December 20, 2021, all courses are subject to mandatory certification at level 3G 2G. Course participants must prove with a valid certificate that they have been vaccinated, recovered or tested. In addition, a mask obligation now applies everywhere where a certificate obligation applies. The mask can be taken off during active training. The mask has to be worn as well for all active working dog-human teams.

Contact Tracing

The personal data to be collected from all course participants must be provided to SCC without being requested when registering for the course. This includes first name, last name, e-mail, address and telephone number.

Hygiene measures

• Disinfectants are available in the arena
• It is compulsory to wear masks in the entire Swiss Dog Arena from the moment you enter it. This includes in particular the underground car park, the stairwell, the waiting rooms, the gallery and sanitary facilities.
• A mask is compulsory in the entire Swiss Dog Arena, incl. training fields
• The mask can be taken off during active training
• The mask must also be worn during active training

Further measures

• The distances (social distancing) of 1.5m must be observed in the entire Swiss Dog Arena (before, during and after the course).
• The waiting rooms for the training areas are marked and only the respective waiting room and entrance to the training area is to be used.
• The Swiss Dog Arena is not accessible to spectators and visitors.
• Wash hands thoroughly (before and after training)
• No shaking hands
• Sneeze or cough into a handkerchief or the crook of your arm
• Stay home if you have a fever or cough

Protection measures for shows & SEMINARS

All shows & seminars take place under the requirement of the COVID certification

At all shows organized by the SWISS CANIN CENTER, the following protective measures apply:

COVID Certificate (2G rule)

As of now, a valid COVID certificate at level 3G 2G is required for participation in all shows of the SWISS CANIN CENTER. A Covid certificate is given to those persons who are tested, recovered or vaccinated. More information about the COVID certificate you can find HERE.

• Admission will be granted only to those who have been tested, recovered or vaccinated and can prove this by means of a Covid-certificate. A Covid-certificate is required for persons 16 years of age and older.
• Official identification (ID, passport, etc.) must be shown upon entry; no data will be stored during the certificate check.
• The Covid-certificate will be checked at the check-in on the show day.
• The check-in times are binding
• There is a mask obligation in the entire Swiss Dog Arena, for the entire duration of the event for all persons
• The mask can be taken off by the active runner at the start and must be put on again at the finish line
• The mask must also be worn by the active dog-human team due to the 2G rule

Participation from abroad

Participation in our shows is still possible from abroad. Persons from border regions are exempt from testing and filling out the entry form.

TESTING POSSIBILITY IN BERNE

You have the possibility to get tested in Basel at DOCS quick test center Bern Expo on your way to the show. Please calculate enough time. Simply book your appointment HERE. New dates will be added regularly.
Antigen rapid tests can additionally be performed free of charge in almost every pharmacy.

Contact Tracing

The personal data to be collected from all tournament participants must be provided to the SCC without being requested when registering for the tournament via the registration service AOA. This includes first name, last name, e-mail, address and telephone number.

All visitors, escorts, helpers and all other persons entering the Swiss Dog Arena at the time of the tournament day are requested to leave their contact details with the tournament office. This can be found on the first floor.

Hygiene measures

• Disinfectants are available in the arena.
• Masks must be worn throughout the Swiss Dog Arena from the moment you enter. This includes in particular the underground car park, the staircase, the waiting rooms, the gallery, the sanitary facilities and also the entire green area/competition area incl. waiting room/preparation room.
• During the competition run, the active athlete does not have to wear a mask.
• The windows are opened at regular intervals for better ventilation

Mouth-nose protection (masks) cannot be obtained on site. We ask all participants to bring their own mouth-nose protection.

Further measures

• Thorough hand washing (before and after the training)

We ask all participants and visitors to keep the necessary distance and measures and to refrain from visiting our shows, courses or seminars in case of symptoms of illness.
