Information – Show with Tamàs Tràj

February 2, 2023/in News
We are delighted about your high demand for our Show tournament with the top-class judge Tamàs Tràj from Hungary. As the demand exceeds the capacity for a normal Showby far, we have decided to make some structural adjustments in order to be able to offer a starting place to as many people as possible.
What was changed?
⭐️ No Open-Agility for classes 2 & 3
⭐️ Reduced entry fee CHF 35.- / team of classes 2 & 3
⭐️ Changed Showon Sunday (class 2-3-1 instead of 1-3-2) due to departure times main judges 🛫
⭐️ Second judge, in order to keep the maximum number of teams to be judged per judge (TKAMO regulations).
The waiting list has been purged. Teams, which can not participate in the tournament, we ask to cancel early. Cancellations at short notice will still be charged.
We are happy to be able to offer as many people as possible the opportunity to start at Tamàs Tràj with these adjustments.

That was the Agility SC 2022

November 22, 2022/in News

The most important national Agility with 300 participating teams in the categories Large, Medium and Small went on the 19. and 20 November over the stage. It was the first event under the brand SWISS CANIN CENTER. However, it was also the first event in which the categories were treated separately. This had the great advantage that for the qualification runs as well as for the finals the same large course area of 50m x 27m could be used.

The SWISS CANIN CENTER would like to thank its partners and sponsors Royal Canin Switzerland and Fressnapf Switzerland for their great support of this event. Our judges Petra Vyplelova from Czech Republic and Alex Beitl from Germany delighted with their SM worthy courses and contributed significantly to the success and thrill of this event.

We congratulate the new Swiss champions with all our hearts!

🥇 Swiss Champion: Rosenfelder Ann-Sophie with Lancia (Border Collie)

🥈 Vice Swiss Champion: Laforge Alice with Tesla (Border Collie)

Agility Swiss Championship 2022

September 12, 2022/in News

We welcome you to the Swiss Agility Championship 2022.

Information about the Swiss Championship 2022 can be found on our dedicated website.

Agility SC 2022
This year, for the first time, the Swiss Championship will be held separately by category. The Large will start on Saturday, followed by Small & Medium on Sunday.
This division was made in consultation with the TKAMO and therefore chosen so that both the qualifying runs and the finals can be held on a large course area. We hope to be able to take into account the development of the sport.

Impact of Ukraine-War on the 1. & 2. WC qualification

March 3, 2022/in News

The SWISS CANIN CENTER adjusts the form of the World Championship Qualification from 05. & 06.03.2022 in view of the war in the Ukraine caused and led by Russia.

In the last years we had to learn that situations occur which are not foreseeable and which make the event planning considerably more difficult and costly. After Corona, a new situation has arisen with the war in Ukraine, which also has an impact on the upcoming World Championship qualification. The aggression of Russia towards the democratically elected government of Ukraine and its population is unacceptable. We are glad that the FCI decided on 24.02.2022 to withdraw the FCI Agility WM 2022 from Moscow and hope that the efforts of the FCI to find a new host city in this very short period of time until 11 March 22 will yield results.

Since the WC should have taken place for the first time ever on Russian territory, we prepared ourselves for a WC qualifying weekend entirely under the influence of Russia and arranged it accordingly. We intended to give our WMQ-weekend a Russian flair in optics as well as in its experience. Accordingly, long before the war, we have evaluated and ordered appropriate winner prizes. On the one hand these would have been handmade Matryoshka dolls, which we had custom-made. On the other hand, a Russian theme evening with dinner had been planned for Saturday evening.

Under the given circumstances, the SWISS CANIN CENTER cannot carry out the event in this planned framework, with the planned winner prizes. Therefore, replacement winner prizes were organized and produced within a very few days. The theme evening on Saturday evening will take place, but without Russian flair and with an adapted menu as far as the preparations allow, in order to avoid food waste as much as possible.

We hope for the understanding of all participants. We stand behind all affected people in the Ukraine and hope that the situation in the Ukraine will soon relax and the sport can move back into center stage.
